Galaxy S2, non-browsing apps can't connect to internet?
Running Gingerbread (2.3.3). Internet browsers work just fine, but other apps like Facebook and Snapchat don't have internet access. How do I fix this (without doing a factory reset)? Thanks

Don't have internet access but the network is there? Try use wifi connection and see how is it. That could be problem for the software. How long you have use your phone? Why don't you update to current stable icecream sandwich 4.0.4? You are able to download through kernel update from your pc samsung kies. Some heavy updates just can't be done through phone self updates. Check updates on settings, about phone, software updates.
There are many possibilities but it can be solve easily as well. Just need few trouble shooting. When comes to worst, I recommends you download any backup application from 'play store' and back up every of it. After that, you can format it. When everything done, download the same apps then you can restore again. Titanium backup is best if your phone is rooted. Ads |
