how to add a gif image to a profile page?

I was wondering how to add a gif image to a profile page on any social media or a website that allows you to add a profile and info

i am not talking about the profile image, what i meant is adding a gif image to the profile description box and have it appear the description or about me section,

Any ideas?

It's better if you convert it to a jpeg image, as most sites accept jpeg over gif. To do this, just re-save the photo as a "JPG" under "save as type" hope this helps!
