How to get my twitter password after its been hacked?

I set up my twitter with email address my friend made me and I never needed to log into the email adresss so I didn't relize I don't know the password. My friend recently changed my twitter password and wont tell me what it is. I can't get into twitter. Is there a way I can get my password sent to a different email.

Nope I had the same problem before I had to make a new one

When your on the log in screen, you will see little blue words that say "forgot password?" click on that and it will ask you to confirm your email. After you have done that, look at your email for messages from twitter. When you find the email, click the link. It will then let you change the password withought letting the hacker know.
