How do I have my pictures on my Mac laptop to be in the same order on my iPhone?

And I have all these pictures lettered And numbered all in a certain order and when I download them to my iPhone from my lap top they all go out of order on my phone it only shows it on my iPhone that there out of order on my laptop it'd fine and I can't edit my pictures on my phone I can only do it on my computer and I don't know what to edit cause there all ready in the order I want them to be in on my computer would it be some sort of setting or something
