Why am I seeing a lot of Pakistan users these past few years?

On Youtube, Facebook, online games, gaming operating systems (xbox, steam, ps3).

I noticed this early last year. I don't remember seeing them populate the net so much. It's like all of the sudden everyone in Pakistan is browsing the internet, making online accounts, socializing.
Could it be perhaps coincidental or some new law in Pakistan, I think they seldom allow anyone to use internet at one time.

It's likely to be improvements in infrastructure and communications recently. A lot of people will be using mobile devices as well, now the price of them and access costs has come down, no computer is needed anymore. There's also a big increase in spam from there too, so they're learning fast in that part of the world.
