There are various plugins for social media. Sociable is one.

Also, if you are using Pinterest there is a script you copy and place in a text widget on your Wordpress site.

As some others have stated, there's a TON of plugins that are available to help you to link your site to social media. This is very easily done. There are plugins that allow others to "share" your blog posts on social media, facebook "like" boxes for your site, and tons more. I am not clear what you mean by linking your wordpress blog to social media. Do you mean have your wordpress blog appear on social media sites so people can see your articles?

If you are on Facebook or Twitter, you can link your wordpress blog by including a hyperlink in your profile.

For Facebook, you simply log in and go to your Timeline. Click on the About me to edit your information. Click on Edit on Contact information and you can add your website there.

For Twitter, simply go to setting and click on profile on the left menu bar and add website.

As for Linkedin, you can add an application to your profile and connect it with your blog. You articles will be listed in your profile. Go to your profile, click on ADD SECTION under your information box and scroll down a bit and click on blog under apps section. Follow the instruction to add your blog.
