how do i stop pop ups on twitter and facebook?

i was downloading a movie and ended up with this ads that say they are not by the site. now they pop up on twitter, facebook, google and youtube.

If you use Google Chrome you should download the free extension "Adblock" this is also available in Firefox... it's a very useful tool and you will no longer see any of these pop ups or ad's etc

You should try AdBlocker it's a great tool which can be customized per plugin, website. It's very easy to use and install. Available for Windows/Mac on Chrome or Firefox.
