Our relationship was going really well, we got on great and he was such a gentleman. We didn't see each other for around 2weeks due to us both being busy, then he told me it wasn't working out. Instead of asking why, I said some mean stuff as this had happened before (we've gotten back together) but I understand now that the key is to communicate. I told him not to contact me, yet he is still following me on twitter do there is hope and everybody said he was smitten (he didn't even argue back, he just said he was sorry) I want to rectify this, but I don't want to look silly.

Well, if you are exs there is probably a reason for it. You can't make him fall back in love with you, but you can be yourself and be nice to him. Try being friends for now, and if something works out, maybe in the near future you guys can hook up again. Other wise I know how it feels to still be in love with an ex. It's hard, and takes time getting over. Make sure you read his signs, if he really wants nothing to do with you, then don't waste your time and energy on him, he isen't worth it.
