How can I turn off the sound for the facebook notifications on my computer?

Just so you know, I found the answer myself. Thank goodness!
Go to Account Settings
-Notifications
-How you get your Notifications
-On Facebook then click "view"

Why suddenly the sound box was checked after all these years, I DO NOT KNOW. But I am glad I could fix it.

-Notifications
-on the right side you will see "how do you get notifications"
-click on the view on the far right of "on facebook"
-unmark play sound and your are done
