How to get alerts on your phone?
Okay, so my teacher mentioned that we could get alerts sent to our phones about 2-hour delays and days we have no school for free. Is this possible?

Very possible. The alerts will probably be sent via text message and as long as your cell phone plan allows texting, you should be able to receive them. Check with your school as to how they send them and make sure they have your cell phone number on record.

Nowadays, you can get text alerts for just about anything...storms, emergencies, breaking news, fires, twitter posts, etc. The list is endless. Just make sure not to go over your monthly text amount as that can cost you a lot. If you have unlimited texting, you have nothing to be worried about.
