May be a virus. If you have your recovery disks, I would reformat or do a system recovery. If you can't do this yourself, take it too a pro. In the meantime, shut your laptop off and close the lid. No one can see you then.

You are hacked. Sign out of all of your accounts and save your important stuff to a usb flash drive or a disc. Then get someone to wipe your computer clean and reload your data.

You have a real problem.

First disconnect your computer from the internet.

All you can do now is back up ALL your files, documents, images, still and video by burning them to CD's

Once you have done that, you need to use your recovery discs to format your hard drive and start fresh.

Once you have done that, you need to immediately install an anti-virus program.

Once that is done, with your computer disconnected from the internet and scan your computer using the deep scan mode. At t his time, also scan the CD/DVD's with your data for hidden viruses, Trojans or malware.

Using your backed up files, repopulate your computer with them. Do NOT copy any files that your ant-virus program finds.

In the future do NOT open any emails with attachments even if you know the sender until you can verify that they did send you a file.

You need to learn how to keep your computer secure from outside attacks. Until you do that, you will continue to be attacked

Have you run a scan with your anti virus software?

The webcam is the least of your worries - the hacker may have your log on details for facebook etc and, if you bank online, your bank account
