Well i'm grade 10, and this guy I think is cute is grade 11. I added him on facebook because we have made quite a bit of eye contact the past few weeks. I msged him once, it was a good convo, he put quite a few smiley faces, and when he had to go he said -i'm going to go to bed now, it was nice talking to you(: night!- Does this mean he is not interested??
Also I poked him on facebook, and he poked me back, and yesterday he was at a table in the cafeteria with his friend, and my friends and I got up from mine and I looked over at him, and he was looking at me.

What does this mean? Main question is what signs do guys show if they are interested in a girl?

Theres no just sign that a guy likes you. All guys are different. To get a general sense you can google your exact question and get wiki andswers and ehow stiff but thats all a generalization. it sounds like he likes you in my opinion.

A nice firm slap on the ass is usually a good indicator.
If he walks past you and says "SCHAWING" while making a thrusting movement with his hips, that's another sign.
If he tells you that he likes you, make him work for it. Nothing is sexier to a man than blue balls.
Besides, a man never tells a woman that he likes her, that makes him look like a total idiot.
In conclusion: modern relationships are stupid.

Tries to be around you
When he's with his friends, they may be all looking at you and talking over, or laughing
He may say weird stuff to keep the convo going on
I mean the staring, and trying to talk to you is a pretty good sign of him liking you!

Ok I am an adult and I have been there done that. This guys does like you, but is playing hard to get. This is something guys do to get girls to think and sweat them. It sounds like he does like you, he is always staring at you and making eye contact. Stop making all the first moves and let him make moves and if he doesn't then his bad. A guy that likes you, will make moves and come up to you and talk to you. Some guys are shy, but if you are also showing him signs then its up to him to make the moves. Dont' chase no guy!

A guy is interested, in any girl who shows that she is interested in him first.
You let him know you are interested in him, and you will get your answwer..
what to look for? if he is watching you as you walk away, or he is watching you from across the room, and you give him a singel to come over and he does, then what ever he was doing or who he was talking to is not as oimportant as you are to him..
If you singled him over and he didn't come but single for you to come to him, then go to him! let him know you want him more then the ones you were with.. this is how the young and learning get to know they are wanted..

Sometimes a guy is trying to be nice or get to know you but not necessarily be romantically interested. In order for a guy to genuinely be interested in you it takes time unless he just wants to take advantage of you. Try coming at it from a friends perspective and it may or may not lead to something more. Be patient and don't jump to conclusions too fast. I've been through the same and got burnt many times.
