long distance relationship/internet dating advice please?
Okay so I don't want a lecture on internet relationships etc. But I've been talking to these guys in India since i was 12 and now they are 17 and I'm 16.. We've chatted on the phone, on skype, facebook, twitter.. everything really.. appart from meeting in person as they live in India and I live in France so unfortunately can't just pop round to see them lol. I am friends with people whose family come from India and most are mixed so like one of the nephews is french and he is married to an indian lady who moved from India.. and then a french woman with married an indian man .. and both have children.. I love Indian culture.. the music.. the food. the people.. and i would LOVE to go there one day, and also visit my internet friends. I really like one of them especially, like ever since the beginning we've been really close and always make sure to keep in contact with each other, send each other photos and stuff.. and sometimes i teach him some french words and when we talk on the phone we can talk for ages and stuff and he's helped me with some decicions that i've made etc.
We always say "love you" and things like that and the end of our messages.. and i know it's just friends but i can't help but have feelings for him.. i know it's probably stupid as we've never met physically but.. idk.. when we chat we do flirt sometimes and he does compliment me quite a bit..
but like that could just mean nothing. I don't know how i could ask him what he thought of having a relationship like more than friends with me.. once we've met? and then decide if we still like each others company? because i know that i will deffinately go to India i just love it so much..
i just don't know if i'm being stupid thinking this lol

I'm in the same exact situation as you. I like this guy from New York but I'm in the UK. All I can say is as long as when you go there you know it will be safe why not? Long distance relationships can work out my friend was in one for a year before they lived together. it's hard though but as you too are already like best friends I dont see any negatives. Follow your heart and you are not being stupid
