I can't download dell webcam central?

Whenever I try to download dell webcam central I get this stupid message that pops up and says: " "Setup could not detect any dell webcam central on your system.... Please ensure that your Dell Webcam Central is properly installed before running this Setup program"

I have dell inspiron 2305... How do I fix this issue?

For some dell laptops this software is only available for the 64bit version of windows. Check this and download the software from dell

First of all we need to check whether webcam is getting detected in device manager under imaging devices.

Follow the steps given below

1. Right click on My Computer
2. Select Manage
3. Click on device manager
4. On the right side please locate imaging devices.
5. Expand the options and check if webcam is detected or not.

If you are getting Imaging devices in device manager then webcam issue can be fixed by installing its latest chipset, webcam driver and webcam central software.

If problem persists and the app shows "No supported webcam detected" then most likely it is a hardware failure which requires Dell's assistance.
