How to block people on the iphone facebook app?

My friend is irritating, she keeps saying she is gonna kill herself and how she cuts herself etc and being depressing in general. Shes fine at school, but how do i block her on the facebook app for iphone/ipod? This isnt a troll

You actually can't...you have to go onto the internet and hide them and then log back on..on your iPhone...

Click the "Notifications" tab on this new page. This takes you to a list of notifications that you can choose not to receive.

Click the boxes beside any of the notification types for which you are receiving unwanted notifications to remove the check mark in the box. The types of notifications include various apps, being tagged in a picture, new friend requests, comments on your videos and many more.
