Facebook mobile help?

So my iPod touch is always logged into Facebook,however it does not show that I am available on mobile chat. First it showed a little phone icon whenever my friends messages me so they knew I was on, but now it's gone and it doesn't show I'm on mobile when I actually am. Is there any way to change this? It only started like happening a couple weeks ago.10points

Download facebook messenger. They will see a little phone icon 24x7.

But if you wanna stay online 24x7 & wanna show yoyrself online like PC then download 'nimbuzz' or 'ebuddy' & after installing link that to your facebook id. Those app will run in background & whenever someone msg you will get notification.
