How do I tell my mom that I pierced my nose?

I am in college and right when I got back to college after winter break I got my nose pierced and I want to tell her but I don't have a good idea of how to do that.
The reason I'm nervous to tell her is because before when I told her I wanted to get it pierced she was completely against it.
But the thing is, I don't go back to school for another month and a half so I thought I could tell her over the phone. And I don't want her to find out over Facebook when I post a picture.

Just say you love her and that your sorry you did it but you like it and it can be taken out whenever you want

Just let her see it in person & if she freaks out just apologize & explain to her that you love it & you are an adult & are old enough to make adult decisions. It's all how you say it. Don't make it an argument. Just smile & say, "Sorry mom but I'm an adult & I wanted this for myself."
Boom. Done.
