Samsung galaxy s2 does not get any app notifications?

Text and email give notifications, but all apps including Facebook and words with friends do not give any notifications at all. Any idea how to fix this? It is the at&t version.

I'm having the same problem same phone same network. For me however Facebook did start to work eventually. I have it set on never refresh but it does get push notifications. I also have mine to sync with my contacts in settings, accounts and sync. Idk if that matters. But like I said mine didn't work either and then randomly started to work and I don't think I did anything special. Maybe just try reinstalling and restarting your phone. words with friends refuses to send me notifications tho. I'm not sure if it supports push notifications so maybe you have to set it to check with background notifications in options but that doesn't work for me either. I realize this is almost no help so I hope someone else has something better to say cuz it's pissing me off too
