How do I rest my connection settings on Win 7?
The computer has been infected by a virus or other type of malware. And now, I am unable to access certain websites and software like iTunes is also unable to connect with the network properly.

I have checked the firewall settings and have seen the exceptions for them, but still unable to access the iTunes network. The computer also has problems trying to communicate with the Windows update network. I am using Google Chrome to acces this site as well as facebook.

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium SP1

Have you checked your hosts file? Or dl Hijackthis (if you are a bit more advanced of a pc user) and see if you have a redirect issue in the registry. This happened to me, same problem and all. Ccleaner can sometimes help reset stubborn settings. Or try your device manager in the system icon on the control panel.
