Besides having good music. Such as promotions, tours, contests, prizes etc. I am working on strategies to get current fans more excited about an up and coming group and to draw in even more fans. I am focusing on the social media aspect. So what is it that your current favorite artist does to keep you around or what do you wish your artist did more of?

I like the more exclusive bands who don't sell themselves out like putting their songs in ads and movies, I like it when they are down to earth and treat the fans above themselves I think was really cool when plan b went to a tiny gig and it was only advertised by one guy calling them my mates band (it's an ad, hypocritical of me I know, but it was an awesome idea. Bands should do more "surprise" gigs with no advertising like in airports and on the streets
My favourite bands are like kasabian, coldplay especially, and kings of Leon.

I like it when they are consistantly good, but i also prefer it when they stay humble and down to earth so basically the opposite of kanye,will.i.am and nicki minage. They do have good songs but they're attitude is just horrible

Just good music for me. Also no pretension from the members. If I relate to the members....

I guess it would be cool to be able to speak to the band and ask them questions and stuff...
