Wouldn't it be great if there was a religion and politics filter for Facebook?

I've had it up to here with friends using FB as their own personal pulpit and/or soapbox. I swear, my news feed is awash with ridiculous conspiracy theories and impending notices of the Rapture (even before this most recent ridiculousness). Short of blocking or unfriending, what's a social media addict to do?

Erm.....not use social media? You can't stop people from spreading their (albeit crazy) messages on the internet if it isn't physically or mentally harming you. That's just communist.
