somebody logged into my facebook account from a different state?

I live in AZ and when I tried to log into my facebook account today it said that someone in Akron, OH logged into my account today just a few hours ago. I'm definitely changing my password, but is there any other way to make sure this doesn't happen again? :/ Thanks x

You are already doing the best action against hacking. Most hackers hack into accounts by "BruteForce" or "Dictionary Attacks" (Random password attempts).

I recommend including numbers and special characters (! @ # ... etc.). These make passwords strong and harder to crack.

This has happened to me once before also....it can be a scary feeling.. But you did the right thing by changing your password, because that is what I did also, and ever since then I never had that issue again
