What does a "confirm your identity" notice when logging into Facebook mean?
Yesterday when I tried to log into my account a notice popped up that my account had been locked and I had to confirm my identity in order to regain access. It asks that I submit a scan of my photo ID with my full name and date of birth on it. Has anyone else ever received this message? Has anyone ever got past it? Is it a scam to get my identity? Please help! If anyone answers my question I will give them ten points.

Your computer has a nasty Virus. Do NOT submit your photo ID, take the computer to a shop. If you got infected that badly, it's not even worth talking you through the steps to get rid of it.

Facebook wont lock your account unless maybe someone else try to hack your facebook. Go to your email and see if you received any message/notification from facebook or not.
