I like this question. For the past 5 years I have wondered about this but when mentioning it one is shot down in flames on the SB. One must not chat or appear to have a sense of humour. I stay here or disappear for a while but always come back.

I can answer your first question...

Humor is welcome in the Jokes & Riddles section,
http://answers.yahoo.com/dir/index?sid=396546041
and sometimes in the Polls & Surveys section,
http://answers.yahoo.com/dir/index?sid=396546444
but considered breaking the Y!A Guidelines in others for not being a
Real or True Question/Answer. (I know it seems petty--my own jokes
have been removed--but I understand where they're coming from.)
