If you block someone on facebook, will they be notified?
I want to make a facebook but my parents dont agree. So since they have facebook, the best way for me to get away with it is by blocking them. So will they be notified? Will they be able to view my profile/pictures if I block them? And do they have to be a friend for me to block them? Thank youu

they wont be notified as such , but i guess it becomes a issue when they try to send you a message or mail !

on the other hand, if you've ignored him so many times & he still doesn't get the point , to hell with him !
don't feel bad over it !

They won't know and you don't need to be friends to block someone and they can't see your profile if you block them.

No they don't have to be your friend in order for you to block them and they won't be able to look you up or see your photos if they are blocked but you have to remember that people have big mouths. If someone they know happens to see you on facebook and mentions it to your parents you will be busted. The best thing to do is to make a profile, set the privacy levels to block everyone except friends from viewing your profile, use decent pictures of yourself and only add people who your parents will respect. Then sit them down, explain to them that you really want a profile of your own and remind them that you are able to protect yourself from strangers. Hand them both a piece of paper with your e-mail and password and show them your profile page. Tell them you understand they told you know but you wanted to show them how responsible you could be if they gave you a chance. Explain to them that it will only be used for games and staying in contact with friends and family and tell them they can check it out themselves any time they like. If they see that your being serious about this and give them the chance to check up on you at all times, you have a good chance. Good luck!
