Would it be wrong to ad him as a friend on facebook?

i know it sounds dumb but I'm not sure if itll send the wrong message.
So I have a boyfriend and we have been dating for almost 11 months. Recently we have been having problems like not talking or hang out a lot. Which is a whole another problem but I'm not in love with him at all. I'm kinda getting bored of him for different reasons but I don't want to dump him till im sure i want too. Anyways at the Halloween dance I meet this guy who is a year younger. Hes really nice and we have really inserting conversations. He's like the kinda guy you'd have the will they won't they date sort of relationship with. I like him, not in the like like way but I do want to be friends. I think he likes me. I found him on facebook after much digging and i want to add him. I'll admit i just want to stock him, hey we all do it. We only have like three mutual friends so it wasn't exactly easy for me to find him since I didn't know his last name. But I don't wanna give him the wrong message. Is adding him ok?

In my opinion it’s better not to because it might be the cause of your break up with your boyfriend if he finds out. If your intention is just to make friends then you could tell your boyfriends first or ask his opinion before adding him. It would be much better if you tell your boyfriend first on how you meet this guy and then decide based on his reaction. This way he would have an idea and I believe a girl would not be interested to someone if you don’t like him. The same goes with guys and most common reason why you need to make communication with that person is to be friends.

You have a boyfriend you want to dump but only when it is convenient for you? Then you shouldn't add this new guy to your list because you are an immature shallow, manipulative little witch. The new guy does not need to become part of your twisted approach to dating and relationships, spare him the aggravation and pain of dating you.
