Random guy wants me to try on clothes for him, what do I do?
I made an account on meetme recently. It is a social site kind of like facebook only more dating stuff and other things to do on there. A random guy messaged me and said this: If I take you shopping and buy you clothes, will you try them on for me Smile ? And im thinking why not. He lives near me. It isn't like he can abduct me or rape me or anything, because I will be in a crowded mall area. Do you think this is a good idea?

The fact that you're even asking this question means you know something is off about this. Obviously this is not a good idea.
In my area, a girl met a random guy on a social media site and when she went to meet him face to face, he shot and killed her and stole her phone. Don't think that just because you're in a mall that you're safe.

Unless you have met him before it sounds like a weird request- i would be wary! Even if you are meeting in a public place you NEVER know. It sounds like he's either a nice guy or a total pervert

That is a very bad idea, I would report him! Never arrange to meet people online unless you are 100000000% certain they mean no harm Smile

Yea... definitely not a good idea. He could be harmless, but you apparently know little about him yet other than he's boldly declared an interest in checking you out in different outfits. Just because you may meet him in a public place, that doesn't mean that's the only place he'll have access to you, especially with him living nearby. During your meetup, you could share seemingly innocent details about your life that could give him the information he needs to basically find you whenever he wants.

Tread carefully with internet strangers. There are plenty of harmless people out there, but it only takes one to forever change or end your life. The "good" bad people will probably seem normal or cool for a while, too.

It would depend on where he wants you to change clothes, also there is no completely safe place (except maybe a police station).

This question is a perfect example of why people should never eat the yellow snow. It causes you to do strange things.
