Exactly what it says, Adware. You can download a remover such as Ad-Aware which will remove them, you can get it for free at:

Those are adware data-miners. You can delete them from your system with Spybot - Search and Destroy. It is a freeware program. The current version is 1.60. Just download, install, update (definition files), and run the program to purge all "nasties" from your PC.

Invasive malware (ad & spy) installed from servers.
Try malwarebytes to clean up your system: http://www.majorgeeks.com/Malwarebytes_A...d5756.html Don't let the battalions of external parasites into your system in the first place: stop these guys @ your 'doorstep' & keep 'em out: **************** INTERNET EXPLORER: Tools> Internet Options> Privacy> Advanced: here check 'Override automatic....'; 'Allow session cookies'; 'Allow 1st party cookies' & 'Block 3rd Party Cookies'. **************** FIREFOX: Tools> Options> Privacy: Check 'Accept Cookies from sites' & Un-Check 'Accept 3rd Party cookies' Firefox add-on's Flashblock: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/433 Add block plus: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865 Popup Master: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1788 "NoScript" for Firefox will stop a lot of these adware/spyware & hijackers: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/722 Use this feature to block unwanted advertising re-direct: With NS running, down on the far right corner is a blue 'S' with a red line through it: right click that> tick 'forbid -------' &/or mark as 'untrusted'. (Ticking all may reduce interactive behavior; enable just enough to get what's necessary) *********** Server based spy/adware, that tracks your surfing & builds a profile of your surfing: requires "Opt Out"... Yahoo here: http://info.yahoo.com/relevantads/ Google here: http://www.google.com/privacy_ads.html NAI garbage here: http://networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp DoubleClick poison here: http://www.doubleclick.com/privacy/dart_adserving.aspx SpywareBlaster for system wide, realtime protection: http://www.snapfiles.com/Freeware/securi...tispy.html Turn off 'spell check' may help, as this sends keystrokes back to the server also, which may be used to 'target' advertising. Good luck. |

As you said, you've been on face book. I recommend avoiding any sort of toolbar, even yahoo and google.
They are the same virus and are a menace. If you have gotten it from face-book or bebo then you will eventually have antivirus warnings. Ignore them. The second link below that tells you how to remove but DO NOT download the program. I have banned face-book and Bebo in my house because of this annoying virus. I recommend sticking to email and chat programs such as yahoo and msn. Also run Ad-aware. I have successfully removed zango variants from all computers in my house. You may look for me on yahoo messenger if you need help. There is no anti-virus or other program that successfully removes zango completely. It's a manual task. |

They are both low risk commercial adware. They come from commercial companies that offer you free stuff on a toolbar while they gather information anonymously. If you get such things again then do a search on the internet by putting whatever the item is called in your toolbar and pressing return or enter - such as "win32/hotbar". Alternative go to an legitimate anti virus or anti-spyware website such as Kaspersky, CA, or AVG and do a search for them there.
