How do I find roommates in the Boston area?
One of my friends and I are interested in renting a 4 bedroom apartment, after finding two other females to split it with us. We are interested in the Boston/Allston/Brighton/Cambridge/Somerville area...

I've posted a listing for roommates on craigslist and on facebook without much success. What are some good websites/resources where I can try to find 1 or 2 female roommates to live with us?

Thanks in advance!

(Only serious suggestions, please!)
Unfortunately, I'm not a college student anymore. My friend and I both graduated this spring. Therefore, we probably would prefer living with young professionals over students.

Lookup Roomate referrals on Yahoo search. They pair people together for a small fee.

y dont u just look for the board? every college has one where u can post a piece of paper print out prefferably, with ur # written on the lower end vertically and cut like little bars so some one can just tear one off right away and take it... remember to cut em a little farther than where the # ends so they dont tear it-- put these where people who ud like hang out at trust me in a college theyll fly if ur calm put em in a library, sports the gym etc

Very serious, don't take anyone from Craig'slist or other online sites. Got to Boston College, and get permission to post your want ad for fm roommates. Trust me, you don't want people from Craigslist or Facebook... As good as they look, as bad they are. Usually. Just get a regular college student, like you, and you won't get someone who thinks their looks get them a free ride. Verstehenstumich? Yes, German, one of 7 languages... You've been warned. You need to get someone sonservative because they will reign you in, as much as you want to be "all that"...
Do it for your own good. Get a normal person, and do your shoolwork, take your tests... I can tell you are spoiled frosh who don't know sh** from shinola... Don't get in over your heads... I did, and didn't get my first degree until I was 39.... Sound fun? It sucked.... Do what ya need to do... Forger Craigslist and Faceplant.. (oops) and do what ya need to do.... ok?

that last guy is completely wrong. Craigslist works great for finding roomates, it's putting up an add for free. Except more young proffesionals check craigslist then they do the newspaper. Also, i don't know what he means by looks. When you have an interested party just interview them on the phone.
