How to make things private on facebook?

So I want to make a post only available to 2 or 3 people. But i dont want them to know that they are the only ones available. so how do i do that on facebook?

Where you write the post or add the photo, there is a little gear thing in the corner of the box somewhere. Make the settings "custom" or whatever and make it only visible to them. You can also block specific people from seeing posts.

use the audience selector for that post to set who can see it

and just keep in mind that only you can see the list of names - when other people check to see who can see it, they just see the word "custom"
