keep getting messages from johnaonp726 anyone else?

As soon as I turn on my computer and get into yahoo, and then Facebook I keep seeing things pop at top or in the lower left corner that there is a message from "johnaonp726" also a mohammad and some numbers, and shelia numbers and a few others. Anyone else get these and what are they and how do you make them stop!!

Sounds like you have yahoo instant messenger running (or some other instant messaging software) and you're getting spammed. Sadly there is no way to stop them from doing it -- all you can do is click on report them as spam and block them. But those types just use one account once and they move on to the next ones. They have bots that do a lot of that. Sorry.

I would run something like malware bytes tho, and make sure you anti-virus is up-to-date and do a scan there too (separately they both are massive memory hogs so do one after the other and they will take a long time as they will look at every file and every folder) just to make sure you don't have something running that shouldn't be...
