This is my intro for my speech on why I prefer twitter over Facebook.

ill admit when I first signed up for twitter, i didnt get it at all. If anything it seemed like a downgraded version of Facebook to me. I was always wondering why you couldn't attach photos, videos, or songs whenever you posted something or where you find people to follow. But once i figured out how to do that it made alot more sense to me. And today i actually prefer twitter to Facebook. Mr. ****** and classmates im going to talk about why I prefer twitter over Facebook.

Im in grade 8 btw. Just opinions on it , improvements or if it should be longer

Bad. You can't say "I am now going to tell you why......." after you've already stated the reasons. Your introductory should be short and sweet. "I used to like Facebook more, but twitter really grew on me, and i actually prefer it. Here are some reasons why i prefer twitter over facebook."

That's good for an introductory, or you could also say this at the end of the above paragraph.... "the reasons i prefer twitter and facebook are (point 1) (point 2) (point 3)" and then go in detail about each point.
