I'm so sad about leaving my job?

I'm so sad about leaving my job?
I had a part time contract from September that was supposed to end in December. They kept me for a couple extra weeks, but they don't have enough business to keep that many employees on once the new year hits, so all of us with the part time positions had to go. I was the last one to go, and we had a little party and said our goodbyes on Thursday.

Anyways, I'm not desperate for money or anything (student...I have loans, hopefully I'll find something else soon though!) I definitely don't miss the commute, but I just miss the people there. I became fairly close with a couple people, but they don't really use social media so it's not like we're keeping in touch. I really liked my job too, and I miss having that to do every day. (I'm not saying what I did just because I don't want the company identified).

I haven't had a lot of work experience...that I enjoyed at least. Is this normal when you leave a job? Will I just kind of get over it? I just feel sad, that's all.

Yes it is normal when you leave a job.

Can you email your friends to keep in touch with them?

You will get over it as you make new friends at school or in a new job.
