How do I delete followers on twitter?

I had my tweets private, but this morning I made them public so people could re-tweet them... but now I have these follows that are spammers of porn and that sort of crap. How do I delete them from my followers list? I can block them, but there is no option to delete or remove them.

Go to your followers then click click a man's head with an arrow pointing down and click add/remove from lists.
Or click block them!

If you block them, then unblock, they're removed from following you.

When you block someone on Twitter, their account automatically unfollows you. However, they can still go to your profile to see your tweets, they can still mention you in tweets, and they can still retweet you.

If they are spammers, you should choose "Report Spam" instead of "Block". Reporting spam will accomplish both tasks: reporting and blocking them.
