I want to wipe my computer completely clean, the harddrive I want to wipe clean. Get rid of virus's & such ASAP! I am not planning on selling my laptop, just how to do it from home! NOT RESTORE TO FACTORY SETTINGS, I WANT TO WIPE MY HARDDRIVE CLEAN! Ads |

If you want to permanently wipe all data, install ccleaner. This tool will allow you to wipe hard drives, flash drives, sd cards, etc.

Format it. Re-install the operating system and format the rest of the drives. Your system will be completely 'CLEAN.'
