How do you wipe a DELL Inspiron 1545 laptop?
I want to wipe my computer completely clean, the harddrive I want to wipe clean. Get rid of virus's & such ASAP! I am not planning on selling my laptop, just how to do it from home!
NOT RESTORE TO FACTORY SETTINGS, I WANT TO WIPE MY HARDDRIVE CLEAN!

If you want to permanently wipe all data, install ccleaner. This tool will allow you to wipe hard drives, flash drives, sd cards, etc.

Format it. Re-install the operating system and format the rest of the drives. Your system will be completely 'CLEAN.'
