How do I use Tumblr ????????

I really don't know how it works ! I saw alot of people's pages , & I thought they were really cool . I am really trying here to work this out . But to me it's boring. But please tel me how to be a pro [ haha pro ] on Tumblr !! (:

Hiya.

Well first of all you need an account (set that up on the Tumblr home page) and when you log in to Tumblr you will have a Dashboard. A Dashboard is pretty much like your Facebook and Twitter feed where the posts of the people you are following (to follow someone you go onto their page and click the '+' sign in the top right hand corner) appear. You can post your own pictures, texts, quotes, videos, links and other things using the toolbar at the top of your Dashboard. If you like a post someone has posted on your Dashboard and you'd like it on your own page just click the symbol on the top right of the post (usually the post is surrounded by a white box) which looks like two arrows chasing eachother next to the heart symbol (the heart symbol allows you to like a post) and this means 'Reblog'.

To promote your Tumblr (to gain more followers) go to http://www.tumblrplug.com and fill in the information at the bottom of the page or follow blogs that have been posted.
