What is the difference between Myspace and Facebook?

I was asked this question recently at work, and to be honest I have no idea. I know that they are the same thing in common, where you can add people as friends. But what is the difference between these 2 sites, and I am on both of them, but lately I have been on Facebook more then Myspace, but I was there (myspace) briefly today. Please answer if you have any difference between these 2 websites.

The difference is that you can do more things on myspace. On myspace you can edit your page, customized it but on facebook you cant, facebook has a lot of apps/games to play and they are all fun.
