How do I make a picture collage on a canvas?
So I really wanna make a photo collage on a canvas. But how? I already know what tools to use since I've seen videos but none of them have been clear or the most i could find were people using photoshop beforehand and i don't have that. I'm gonna get all my pictures from tumblr (social network/blogging site). Do i send them to walmart and get it printed out on my phone? Do i give them sizes? Also if you have any decorating tips or any small ideas that would be helpful also Smile thanks

I've done something similar for and Art II project back in high school, and it was actually pretty easy.
You'll need Gel-Medium (I recommend glossy finish but if you prefer matte, that's cool) and the pictures (we used magazine clippings but you could use photos printed from Wal-Mart or your printer, depending on the quality you want). You can get the Gel-Medium at Michael's, just mix it with a little water to make it last longer, it will still do the same job. When I did it, I applied the Gel-Medium to the folder I was using, then put the picture on top. Then, when I had put all my pictures down, I put another one or two layers on top to water proof it all. You could get small canvases from Michael's so you can test out different methods so that you know what you're doing when you go to do the real thing.

There are online stores that you can upload your collage to and they will print it on canvas and mail it to your house. Smile

Creating a collage with cherished images can be a fulfilling experience. Using the proper techniques will help you create a wall-worthy and personally meaningful piece of art. Before you can begin, you must gather the elements you desire to incorporate into your collage. These elements should be similar in theme and color. Select photos to use as focal points and have a variety of decorative elements to incorporate, including stamps, papers, old letters, pressed flowers, tissue paper or fabric.
