There is a major difference between free and paid for.
Free: ~ Limited Size ~ Limited Features ~ No domain name ~ It's just not going to look all professional Paid: ~ You get what you pay for and there are many different services out there ~ I personally Use Media Temple for my hosting. It have a pack that can hold 3 domain names for unlimited size. But It's a bit more expensive for that. A little google searching for what you personally want is the best thing to do. Although one thing is important to know, Security is usually good on all providers but your personal database (php, mysql, or what ever you use) is obviously not protected by any service A lot of free hosting servers do not allow you to use Javascript, or php in your website. FREE hosting :
* Domain name have limitations. Eg: your domain have to be some thing like this. http://www.(domain).(hostname).com * Number of pages, page links or page size are limited. * page layout may be preset or have a limited choice to select. * Host will be publishing advertisements in your site. * Mobile version may not be available and you cannot be able to open the site in mobile. * some times there will be a time limit ,before that we should go for premium. * for some host, adding member or sign up option won't be there. *page security is less. PREMIUM : * unlimited pages , more choices for page layout, links etc. * Member's area, interface with your social network, email etc. * mobile site available * no ads. * you can get any available domain name without any host names in your domain.:-) Hope this is helpful. . . Plz rate it. . . |
