Why is he still talking to me?

I started a conversation with a friend of a friend (never met him) and complimented his looks. We spoke that night until he was talking about his love for a girl who was on XFactor (UK tv show) and how he will marry her one day (he's obsessed)

It put me off and I asked if he would consider being with anyone else, and he said no, he's really picky. The conversation ended (this was 2 days ago)

I just put a tweet on twitter and he messaged me about the topic wanting to talk, but he couldve just replied to the tweet surely? So that means he wants another conversation?

What does this mean? Why are boys so confusing
