I think you're going to have to pay. I've never seen a site that allows free hosting of domains. However, some hosts aren't that expensive. I set a site up for a teenage group last year at serversea.com for $25 a year and it included many services.

If your current internet provider is Earthlink, AOL, SBC Global and others which provide a homepage; you can easily FTP your own webpage designs as a new homepage. And using a redirection service such as mydomain.com or the forwarding of a parked domain name at godaddy.com, you can easily "mask" the homepage URL with a proper domain name. So in a sense, you have a working ecommerce website disguised as a homepage while still paying your normal monthly Internet access and hosting fee.

Good luck!

I already tried making my own website with several free hosts, but unfortunately, none of them satisfied me and I never tried to publish any of them. So, I started googling about Web2.0 style free hosting with great support and I found few. You can build your own professional looking site quickly and easily with do-it-yourself website builder, Ad free hosting, Social networking tools like Facebook, Twitter integration, Add 3rd party content like Youtube, Myspace video, Google maps.

4. http://www.weebly.com/(Create a free website & blog.)

5. http://www.piczo.com/ (Share photos, make slideshow, play videos, games and music. With featured sites section, plus see who's on-line now feature. Also blogs and text can be implanted on your website)

6. http://www.wetpaint.com/ (Useful hosted wiki tool. Functions of a wiki, blog and online discussion forum. good support.)

7. http://www.wix.com (Create interactive flash sites, myspace layouts and flash widgets. simpler, faster, better way to create stunning Flash web content. good support.)

http://www.lbshosting.info has free hosting accounts with Domain Manager. After setting up the account you just add it to the domain manager, then submit the Name Servers to who you registered the domain.

Also you may be able to save some money on your domain name if you transfer it to http://www.domaincityhosting.com who has free hosting w/ domain purchase.

I would really recommend http://www.000webhost.com/173462.html
1500 MB disk space
100 GB data transfer
PHP and MySQL
Website Builder
no advertising
Never had any problems at all, they will help you with servers etc. control panel is easy to use.
I pay £10 a year for the domain name, so that is the yearly cost of my site. Free hosting rocks Smile
Hope that helps
