Is it effective to advertise your product on social network media (e.g. Facebook)?
Our company is thinking of putting an ad on FB, but since we haven't done this before, we don't know how effective it will be. We're also not sure about the payment mechanism (daily budget, bid, pay per click, etc.). If you've done this before, please, please share with us your experience: How does it work? How effective is it (esp. for your sales)? Should we go for it? Other suggestions? Thanks in advance!

If your company are willing pay for ads in Facebook. Well, how about considering a PPC in Google. However, paid advertisement well be an additional operational cost to your company. There are lots of marketing strategy involving social media without spending your company funds. For Facebook, you can create a facebook page for your company that allows you to showcase your products and services. And its actually free.
