Need help getting an online business started?

[Looking to spend some money]

I want to start a business online that I can do on the side for some extra cash but i'm not sure exactly the steps to take. Do i need to get an EIN, how do customers pay? Do i need a special credit card machine? Any advice or input would be great. Thanks
