Only free apps for ipod touch please. Its a 4th generation. I might jailbreak it if they have good enough apps that are jailbreak only.

Well i recommend to jailbreak your ipod touch generation 4 because doing that you can get a big quantity of very good games and for free and fast downloads the only problem is that you will lose the guaranty but really jailbreak it Big Grin.

Have a search for donut games apps- they've usually got a few that are free every month.
Theres a free smurfs app which is kinda like farmville on facebook but with smurfs, I find that quite fun.
Theres a good game called Geared which is a puzzle. Dont know if it is still free.
If you go to the app store there should be a top 25 apps that week and a tab which is top free apps.
Everyone seems to have the waterslide app, its fun and simple.
Sheep launcher is another good game.
The skype and facebook apps are useful for conencting to those sites.
Angry Birds Lite seems to be a popular free one.
For a lot of game you pay for theres usually a lite version which is the same but with less levels and some adverts so its usually worth not buying the main version.
Hope I helped.

I have an iPod touch 4th generation too. Here are some games that are free and that I have really enjoyed: angry birds, paper toss, battle bears, city story, trade nations, stickwars2.
