Is it illegal to provide passwords to a parent or adult from their child or partner?
If I obtain a fb/myspace/social media or email PASSWORD using key logging software, and give it to an appropriate parent, spouse, husband or wife,

can I, as the technician, get in any trouble, or sued by the password owner, for providing that private information to the parents or partner?

If the child is under 18 and give it to a parent there isnt much they can do BUT you are invading thier privacy. As for giving a password to someones boyfriend/girlfriend. YES they can sue you if they find out it was you who gave it to them without there consent. To begin with if they wanted the partner to know they would have told them.

Your USE of a keylogger is illegal unless you have explicit, written permission of the owner or his/her parent or legal guardian.
If you have that permission, than providing the password of an underaged kid to parent is not illegal.
Using a keylogger on somebody's partner is illegal, unless you have explicit, written permission from that partner is definitely illegal. Providing that password then to his/her partner is another illegal act.

It is illegal unless you have specific permission to do so from the person whos password you've taken. You can't just collect and give passwords to other people. This is illegal and you can get sued or arrested for invasion of privacy or identity theft among other things.
