Does Anyone Know A Free Web Host Like Geocities?

I have an RPG on Geocities, and really to get it to work right I need something like it to transfer it to when Geocitites closes down. Does anyone know a Web Hosting Service that's free that is very similar to Geocities.

I don't know how Geocities is, but Freewebs is good. It's free and really good. Also there's Piczo, but that's rather unprofessional and stupid.

If you want a WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get), then geocities is the place to go. If you know, or can learn, html, then I would suggest angelfire.com It was the place I used when I first started with html, and if you want to get into web design you will eventually have to learn it anyways.

Take a look at the list of free web hosts and see which is the best for you. It sounds like you aren't doing a blog so that rules out wordpress and blogger. good luck!

there are tons of free web hosting providers but my favorite is Profuse Host. they offer tons of features but they are mainly for advanced users.

Yahoo! GEOCITIES was an excellent service for free setting up a free for life online presence though ad-supported. You can also try http://www.icure.co.in. You get lifetime free hosting, no ads, frontpage support, a SUB-DOMAIN, PHP, MySQL, and other webmaster tools for no cost at all.

If u want some more webspace, bandwidth, phpBB etc. you can upgrade to their plans. They are not the cheapest of hosts but quite reliable on their claims i.e. 99.8% uptime, just very excellent customer support, industry standard security and no ads for providing free web-space.

Apart from that you can try x10hosting.com, wetpaint.com etc but most would place ads for providing free-space. For blogging word-press, blogger beats all hands down.
