Does anyone have any suggestions for a sign shop just starting in a small town?
I have 13 years experience in many forms of graphic design, From t-shirt shops to ad agencies. I finally am able to have my own business (doing signs, vehicle graphics... etc.) My problems are a small town, and alot of competition. Any suggestions?

craigslist, or if it's B2B try social network sites like Linkedin, Ryze, if it's both and locally based try "tour" on Thelocalindex site, you can add pictures of your work there.
