Get Skype back on 2nd Generation Ipod touch? HELP!?
Hey, so my sister gave me her old Ipod touch which I discovered is a 2nd generation Ipod. Apparently, you can't have apps like Skype and Twitter (etc) on a 2nd generation Ipod touch but this one did. So I accidentally deleted my Skype app and went to AppWorld to re-install it but it says that 'The App is not compatible with your Ipod' which is confusing me since I had it before and it worked perfectly fine. I was told to go to Itunes to upgrade it but it doesnt work(?) and Skype is really necessary for me. Skype doesnt work on the phone that I currently have and I cant always use the laptop so PLEASE it would mean a lot if you could help me to get it back! Thanks Smile

When installed on your touch 2ng gen. You had the highest version of that app that the device can support. Downloading it again through app world will download the version for ios6. You will need to check your iTunes on computer and see if it will sync with them apps. If you've update the apps on your computer, then there's no way of re syncing the apps back.
