What do you think of people without facebook?
Is it considered weird to not have one? I don't have a lot of friends and I don't have a lot of activities other than snowboarding, going to the gym, playing videogames, and doing my homework/ working full time lol. I'm really introverted. I also think that Facebook can be superficial at times. What do you think?

I do have a facebook. But, I agree with you....facebook is very superficial. I notice alot of people write every detail of their lives on there. It's a bit much at times. I have actually seen people post pictures of their feet, because they stubbed their toe!! LOL!! Crazy!! Don't worry about not having one. You're probably better off. Not weird at all.

From the point of view of someone who ALWAYS has answers (and try best to answering questions!), and who likes information and knowledge a whole lot, I attempted to use FACEBOOK few years back. Found it silly basically because I don't know, it's like you're not getting anywhere; you simply put whatever there and that's it.

It has no depth, no knowledge to offer, and of course a lot of people use it to talk about themselves and that's it. Mostly vain, superficial talk. And, of course, being in the cat-eat-dog world that most professionals live today, it serves (I suppose) the purpose of each individual ratching up their talk about themselves and their supposed accomplishments, trying as they go to edge others off.

Simply put it's similar to the "beauty queen", homecoming queen or most popular guy and girl in school type thing we used to have in the 1970's and early 80's!!!!

To me there's nothing like Yahoo, even when people seem to be absent for a couple of days. All of a sudden things light up like a Christmas tree and you start getting answers, and you go ahead and post more q's and answer other people's q's.

BTW, for those not familiar completely with Yahoo, it has just about any category anyone can think of!
