Liking YouTube Videos Scrolls The Page Down?

So, when I watch a YouTube video, I often like the video before I see it, and then decide whether or not to change that like into a dislike, but this process has become tedious with the new "Update", for whenever I press the "Like" button, the page scrolls down to the "Share" information, which is pretty useless to me, since I rarely partake in social media, and is a bit of a pain having the page forcefully pulled down. This doesn't seem to happen on 1080p output monitors, but I don't have the luxury of one, so it's not really a solution.
My question is, is there anyway to fix this? Has this issue been reported by other users? Can someone link me to a thread where this issue is being addressed, if there is such a thread?
